To support entrepreneurs, new policies by the government and products by the private sector are emerging across East Africa as a result of Covid-19. To centralize these vital updates and training opportunities for small and medium enterprises, ConsumerCentriX is working closely with local partners on digital platforms in Uganda (Covid-19 Business info Hub) and Rwanda (SME Response Clinic).

I had the opportunity to be involved and responsible for both platforms, digital media coverage, and content production.

SME Response Clinic

The goal of the digital platform is to address information asymmetry through by establishing a centralized location for MSMEs to learn about new policies, regulations, support structures and product innovations developing in response to the crisis and essential financial advice and business training.

  • Responsible for web design and posting web content; search engine optimization, and weekly web and social traffic analytics reports.

  • Responsible for Twitter, Instagram and Facebook management. Monitor social media platforms, engaging with followers and researching for trends and new content. Support with Webinars host on Facebook Live.

  • Animations and videos production to increase training enrolment rate by 35%. Prepare articles and content based on entrepreneurs needs and market trends. Development of monthly newsletters highlighting the top picks of the month.

Covid-19 Business Info Hub

A partnership between ConsumerCentriX and Stanbic Bank. The platform will become a centralized platform for Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited to communicate their responsive efforts with enterprise clients in Uganda. It provides entrepreneurs advice on financial management to overcome economic slowdown, industry insights and relevant virtual training opportunities.
